There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit – Romans 8:1.
If we are in Christ, then we are not condemned. In other words, when we accept Jesus Christ in our hearts, then we do not have condemnation. God does not condemned us when we fail because Jesus took our condemnation. He was condemned on the cross in our place. We do not have to beat up ourselves when we fail because Jesus was beaten in our place. We do not have to continue in sin when we fail because Jesus took all our sins in His own body, died and carried them faraway to a place where we cannot find them. Furthermore, He rose from the dead without them as proof that they have been put faraway. Jesus took our unrighteousness and gave us His righteousness. Therefore, today God the Father sees us righteous, even when we fail. We are free from the power of sin! Free to live without condemnation!
We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!
We walk according to the Spirit of God – We walk in His truth for it is written, “Thy word is truth.” The truth is, Jesus carried ALL our sins in His own body on the cross… we do not walk by sight… we walk by faith, believing what Christ has done for us. The Spirit of God leads and guides us in all truth. We hear His voice and obey Him. He bears witness with our spirits that we are children of God.
Our Heavenly Father wants us to know that RIGHT NOW there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. He loves us and sent His beloved Son, Jesus Christ, to deliver us and set us free from the power of sin and death… and condemnation. Thank you Lord Jesus!
