Make haste, O God, to deliver me!
Make haste to help me, O Lord! – Psalm 70:1
When you need help, call on the name of the Lord. Cry out to Him in your distress. He will hear you when you cry out to Him because He loves you. Psalm 34:17-18 says “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.” Sometimes you may feel like you cannot bare the distress. But the Lord said, “Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.” (James 1:12)
Our God who cares for us will come and save us. He showed His love for us when He gave His one and only begotten Son to die for us on the cross so that we will not perish but have everlasting life. He did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17) Jesus Christ is the savior of the world.
He will save you if you allow Him to carry you on His shoulders. He said to cast all your care upon Him because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7) He longs to deliver you from all your troubles and afflictions. Psalm 34:19 says, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” It is the Lord’s desire to save you. So cry out to Him today!
“Let us come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
(Hebrews 4:16)
